We can't afford to be lost in a lost nation.
We can’t afford to be lost…
In a country where things are already uncertain, the worst thing a young person can do is lose direction. Nigeria is already struggling, and if we too lose focus, then what hope is left for the future?
Everywhere you turn, there is distraction. Social media, pressure, comparison, quick money, confusion about purpose. It is easy to wake up and just be existing without actually moving forward.
But the truth is, we don’t have that luxury.
Some of us are the hope of our families. Some are the ones everyone is looking up to, even if nobody says it out loud. Being lost is not just personal, it affects people connected to you.
Yes, the system is hard. Opportunities are limited. Things are not working the way they should. But even in all that, you still owe yourself direction.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. But at least, know where you are going. Have a vision. Have something you are building, no matter how small it looks right now.
Because if you don’t stand for something, this environment will push you into anything.
Stay focused. Stay intentional. Even when things are not clear, don’t allow yourself to be completely lost.
We can’t afford it.
